Commissioning Barb Yates to do a painting of your beloved pet is easy!
1) Select a size and medium for your portrait(see below).
2) Email me several large, crisp, clear resolution photos in jpeg format.
After discussing pose, medium, size(I will make suggestions as to the size and medium that I believe will allow that best representation of your pet's coloring and characteristics.), and schedule, a 50% deposit is due before the portrait will be started. I have a Paypal account, just email me for payment instruction.
I will happily email you the progress along the way and you may give input as to any changes you might like! Read what some of My clients had to say here.
After portrait is completed, I will post your proof on this website (accessible with a password I will email you).
After final approval, the balance due on portrait will need to be paid.
After receiving funds, I will ship your portrait!
I am committed to having happy, satisfied clients, so if in the off chance you are not satisfied with the portrait for any reason, I will happily return your deposit less a $10.00 charge for supplies.

(Pricing is for 1 subject, head and neck)
Additional subjects -add 50% of portrait cost per subject (3 subjects maximum per painting-NOTE-multiple subjects NOT available on the 8 x 10 or the 9 x 12 size as it will not allow for detail as subjects size will need to be decreased)
Detailed Backgrounds are additional, priced specific to individual requests.
A muted(blended) color background is Free if desired.
The choice of blended background color will need to be approved by me, as some will not work well with certain coloring on some pets. I want your pet's portrait to stand out and not "fade" into the background, so please allow my advice in this decision.

I retain all copyrights to my works. After receiving your pet's portrait, you may not reproduce it in anyway, without my granting written permission.
I may display your finished portrait as example of my work on this site.
